Well, when we were small kinds, our mothers kept  telling what to do and what not to do with respect to eating and drinking according to socially acceptable norms of universal table manners. At first, you may want to ask the difference between a blog and a website. The two are quite similar in nature. A blog is probably more interactive than a website. In a blog, you can post ideas for your readers to respond for moderation by the author. In a website, you probably display your activities, therefore a website may have one page designed for blogging. Well, why bother? The two may serve of equal importance. Why blogging?

What is linguistics?

Linguistics is the study of language in general, thus it is sometimes called General Linguistics. As the name suggests, it therefore does not deals with a particular language. Rather, it tries to find out the general attributes pertinent to language. In other words, we should differentiate 'language' from 'languages'.
